It’s another home office post! Is any one surprised? With a lot of us working from home, it’s no surprise offices are my number one request for updates at the moment. On my last post I share about making sure you have a great background so you can brag on zoom!
Today I’m sharing Shannon’s office.
First the before:
Shannon just moved into her 2 bedroom apartment in Montreal. Before moving here she had a studio space but she was craving more space, specially during the pandemic. When she found this apartment she fell in love right away and started dreaming of all the possibilities.
The office space our team was hired to revamp was going to be used for 3 main purposes:
- A home office
- A creative space (Shannon paints and draws)
- A space to exercise
When I asked Shannon how she envisioned her space she said she wanted an elegant yet comfortable where she could relax and be productive for work.
The only furniture Shannon had in the room is this corner desk she purchased on Wayfair
Here are the colors Shannon wanted in the room:
After analyzing Shannon’s needs I found the inspiration for her space on Pinterest!
I love the painted art detail on the wall and I knew Shannon could use a little pop of color. I decided to use an arch on the main free wall facing the right side of her L shaped desk. Once I found my jumping point, the rest of the room came together quickly:
2. Soft Shape Art
3. Tropical Art
4. Geometric Art
5. Lennon Shelf
6. Tomas Globe Lamp
7. Aspen Office Chair
8. Oriental Rug
9. Cloud Cushion
10. Magnolia sofa
11. Murali Cushion
12. Storage Cabinet
I also found this lovely yoga mat for function and style
Here is the layout plan for the room:
We are so excited to see it all come together.
